Trade Shows/Missions

Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design can provide financial assistance to craft businesses for participation in trade shows/missions to develop markets for their products. Applies to wholesale trade shows and certain juried retail shows, provincial or national. Eligible costs for assistance include travel, accommodation, booth fees, and freight up to a specified amount.

Website Development

Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design can provide financial assistance to craft producers for website development. Participation is limited. Eligible costs for assistance include planning and implementation to develop and/or enhance website.

Promotional Materials

Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design can provide financial assistance to craft producers for the development and production of promotional materials. Eligible costs for assistance include the design and production of new materials.   

Product Development

Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design can provide financial assistance to craft producers for the development of new products or to further develop existing products to meet current market demands.  Eligible costs for assistance include direct costs associated with the creation and/or development of the product such as raw materials, specialized tools or equipment and/or the design and production of new labeling and packaging for the product.
