Intermediate Level Jewellery Making

You’ve already learned the basics such as soldering, sawing, filing and finishing silver jewellery in our beginner’s class. You loved the class and now your jewellery making imagination is limited only by a few more technical skills you need in your educational toolbox. Now’s the time to learn sweat soldering, fusing, making findings and creating surface texture, among other skills. Some pretty breathtaking jewellery has been produced by our students in this class, self-confessed newbies who once couldn’t tell the hot end of a blowtorch!

 In the last year, new studio tools and equipment have made it possible for students to incorporate a wide range of new techniques into their jewellery creations. Tuition fees include the use of all tools and equipment; students will be required to purchase their own metals which are available at the Centre.
